HEY, SCIENCE!

This funny and engaging poem highlights how science still continually ignores the woman's body when it comes to education, sex and pleasure in terms of the classroom, media and culture itself. Its all these things that she called out that further perpetuates harmful stereotypes in which women are assumed to be "ashamed and afraid of their sexuality."

When finding this video, what I found even more entertaining (and sad) are the responses some men gave about this poem. I guess many didn't understand that this poem was part comedy to really underscore how a woman's pleasure is misunderstood. Some comments included: "she probably hasn't gotten some action in a while, i mean look at the video... shes not even showing some skin." "This is what happens when you don't have d*ck in you life." "Of course she would want to f*ck men, that's how it was meant to be... a woman is for a man." Its comments like this that further demonstrates how this video was right about the ignorance of many.
